ACADEMIC GOALS

Ø To provide an education that includes the highest level of mastery in core areas such as English, math, science, history, and in computer technology.

Ø To develop the skills and knowledge necessary for post-secondary challenges.

Ø To develop critical thinking skills.

Ø To encourage the development of academic strengths, interests, and creative talents

Ø To develop the ability to become a motivated, self-directed, self-disciplined learner.

EDUCATIONAL GOALS

We expect all FCA students, regardless of level, to develop themselves in six key areas:

Ø English language proficiency which includes reading, writing, and thinking

Ø Mathematical thinking and problem solving

Ø Historical awareness

Ø Science knowledge and reasoning

Ø Appreciation of the Fine Arts

Ø Computer literacy
